Our Work

Grade school Student
sponsorships
In Malawi, the average number of years that a child attends school is four.
Lack of access to uniforms, soap, school supplies, and haircuts are common reasons that Malawian children miss school, often for weeks at a time.
Partnering with a student through sponsorship provides them with a uniform, school supplies, medical care, and other supplies necessary to attend school regularly.
High school Student
sponsorships
In Malawi, only 11 percent of students who finish eighth grade actually go on to attend high school.
High school in Malawi is not free, and the highest-scoring students are selected to attend the best schools. Very few families can afford to pay the school fees. And often, the school that a student is selected to attend is prohibitively far from home, creating boarding costs in addition to the school fees.
Partnering with a high school student through sponsorship provides them with a uniform, school supplies, school fees, medical care, and other supplies necessary to attend school.

discipleship
When the children are out of school, we bring them together to teach them about God and the Bible, disciple and encourage them, and give them a place to have fun. Character and discipleship are two of our program's goals, and these conferences allow us to pour into children's lives by reinforcing the truth that God sees and cares for them. These opportunities also give us a chance to show them that we believe in them, that their futures will be bright, and that they have what it takes to be strong leaders in Malawi.
